TOP TEN FEATURES

1. All-new interior – H2 features a completely redesigned interior cabin including new seats and trim, plus an updated instrument panel with flush-mounted vents and center stack. A larger, 20-liter floor console with integral tray and door trim panels with a bottle holder and storage bin are also new.

2. New standard powertrain – H2’s new 6.2L Vortec V8 standard engine delivers greatly enhanced performance with 393 hp and 415 lb.-ft. of torque plus a 6% to 10% improvement in fuel economy1. A new 6-speed automatic transmission includes a tap-up/tap-down manual shifting capability.

3. StabiliTrak – A new standard feature on every H2, the sophisticated StabiliTrak – Stability Enhancement System provides increased drivability and handling confidence, particularly on slick road surfaces and during emergency maneuvers. The system also includes a new panic brake assist feature that enhances braking control.

4. New head-curtain air bags – This new standard feature helps protect the head of outboard occupants in the front, second and third rows (on SUV body styles) during certain side-impact collisions. An integrated rollover sensor inflates the roof-mounted side air bags if an impending vehicle rollover is detected.

5. New Remote Start System – Standard on every H2, the new remote start feature operates from a distance of up to 200', allowing the driver to pre-heat the vehicle in winter and pre-cool it in the summer with a simple push of the key fob button.

6. Third row seat – This new option for H2 SUV models increases maximum seating capacity to seven with a full-size, 2-person third row (replacing the previously available auxiliary third row seat). The new third row features a split-folding design and can be removed to maximize the cargo area.

7. New audio and video choices – For 2008, H2 features the latest Black Tie family of audio systems, including a new navigation radio with separate slot CD player, MP3 playback capability, color touch screen, GPS vehicle tracking and DVD mapping. A single CD unit with MP3 capability and a 6-disc, in-dash changer are also available. The optional Rear-Seat DVD Entertainment System features a new roof-mounted, 8" flip-down screen.

8. Rear vision camera – This option provides a panoramic view of the area behind the vehicle to make maneuvering and parking easier. When the vehicle is shifted into reverse, the camera image automatically appears on a screen that deploys from the rearview mirror or on the radio navigation system’s display screen (depending on vehicle equipment).

9. Rear climate control – All H2 SUV models now include a standard rear compartment heating, ventilation and air conditioning system with separate, rear-seat controls and vent outlets for enhanced comfort.

10. More towing capacity – With its new powertrain, H2 delivers an 8200 lb. trailer towing capacity—an increase of 1500 lb. over last year’s model.
