1. V8 power – A new 5.3L V8 engine is featured as standard equipment exclusively on the new H3 Alpha model. Producing 300 hp2 and 320 lb.-ft. of torque2, the small block V8 is matched to a standard 4-speed automatic transmission and a new 4.10:1 rear axle ratio.

2. Head-curtain air bags – All H3 models now include head-curtain air bags as standard equipment. Mounted along the roof rails, the air bags help protect the head of outboard occupants during certain side impact collisions. An integrated rollover sensor inflates the air bags if an impending vehicle rollover is detected.

3. Rugged and ready – H3’s available Off-Road Suspension Package includes a special 4.03:1 transfer case ratio, a full-locking rear differential, more aggressively tuned shocks and 33" on-/off-road tires. The package is standard with H3 Adventure models.

4. Rear Vision Camera System – This new H3 option provides a panoramic view of the area behind the vehicle to make parking and maneuvering easier. When the vehicle is shifted into reverse, a 3.5" LCD screen slides out from the rearview mirror and the camera image automatically appears.

5. First-class seating – Providing enhanced 4-season comfort and luxury, HUMMER features leather, heated seats with 8-way power and 4-way lumbar support for both the driver and front passenger as standard equipment on H3X, H3 Luxury and the new H3 Alpha.

6. Safety locks – All H3 models include standard rear door child safety locks that help prevent unintended operation of the rear doors with a simple and intuitive override switch.

7. Trailer towing – The new V8-powered H3 Alpha model delivers a maximum trailer towing capacity of up to 6000 lbs.1, with a complete range of trailering equipment available.

8. Navigation radio – This increasingly in demand option combines premium audio components with a DVD-based navigation system that includes a color touch-screen, GPS vehicle tracking, and directions provided both visually and by voice.

9. Coast-to-coast audio – For 2008, all H3 models now feature XM Satellite Radio as standard, including a 3-month trial subscription. XM Satellite Radio delivers a high-quality digital audio signal and offers more than 170 music, news and sports stations.

10. Standard OnStar – Every HUMMER H3 offers the immensely popular OnStar system as standard equipment, including one year of the Safe & Sound Plan. Not available on our key competitors’ vehicles. OnStar is often a major factor in a customer’s ultimate purchase decision.
